Interview with a Social Work student
Thonea Bi (22) is studying at RUPP, majoring in Social Work. He likes learning about Human Rights, Child Protection Policy and Community Empowerment in this major. His favourite subject so far was Governance, gaining knowledge concerning politics, democracy, and corruption. What he doesn’t like is that students can’t have a job when doing this study. You spend Monday to Saturday on reading and reflecting.
In the future Thonea Bi would like to be a social worker in a community.
If you are interested in this major, he thinks you should be passionate about social activities and should be good at History, Khmer, English and social studies.
