Interview with an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student

HA Songheng (22) is studying Electrical Engineering in year 3 at the National Technical Training Institute. He likes this major because it is based on practice, each subject is clear, there is good discipline and the education is good. The workload is not so high; he spends only 5 days a week on his studies at present. What he likes most is Electrical because you learn skills and acquire knowledge for the future and this will make it easy to find a job. In the future Songheng would like to own a shop with all kinds of electrical equipment and he would also like to offer repairs of electrical systems.

Songheng thinks the high school subject of Mathematics is important because Mathematics is needed in everything you do in this major. His tips if you are interested in this major: have a look at other subjects as well and if you decide to take this major, be patient, and try to practise as much as you can.
