Business Administration

Do you enjoy mathematics and are you curious about business processes? A major in Business Administration will teach you more about efficiently managing a business.

Interview with Business Administration students

RA Phany is 26 years old and studies business administration at PUC. She decided to enrol in this particular major as she wants to start her own business in the future. Her time at the university is quite diverse. It depends on the projects what the workload is like, but in general she spends 3 to 4 days at school. Her fellow students, HONG Koemheang (24) and TAO Kress (27) add that they also have to study at home. What Phany likes most about the major are the different leadership skills, working on various business plans, and the marketing classes. The business plan subjects teach her the exact steps of running a business. The financial subjects are a bit hard for her. She thinks that mathematics is an important high school subject when you want to follow this major. The other two students agree, because financial subjects depend on mathematics.

Her tip for you: If students want to study this major, you should ask yourself “what am I good at?” “What are the main points?” and “Do I love this major?” Koemheang adds that students should do some voluntary work in this field to find out by experience if this major is a good fit.
