A few conditions apply if you would like to register for this program. First, you have to take a state exam after high school. This is possible for high school graduates and students until the age of 25. The exam covers the following subjects: Khmer Language, Mathematics, and Khmer General Education. When you pass the exam you can enroll in teacher training. This training lasts two years, after which you are ready to teach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interview with a student who wants to become a Primary School Teacher<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>KOEM Thary (21) is studying to be an <strong>primary school teacher<\/strong> at the Pre-School Training Teacher Center in Preah Sihanouk Province. Thary is in the second year. Thary chose this major because this job requires integrity, you work hard to <strong>share knowledge with young children and the work is valued.<\/strong> Thary likes teaching, but feels her knowledge is still limited.
