SEA Ly (24) is a year 2 student majoring in Forestry<\/strong> at the Royal University of Agriculture. He chose this major because he loves natural resources, forests, loves planting <\/strong>and wants to do research in this field and become an expert in work related to Forestry. What he likes about his major<\/strong> is that he works directly in the forest<\/strong> and learns about the environment, plants and natural resources management<\/strong>. Moreover, he gets knowledge about plants and planting and about looking after plants and forests. His favourite subject so far is Botany<\/strong>, because he learns about everything that is to be known about plants, such as names, stem shapes, leaves etc. Ly adds that he has to study 5 days a week from 8.00 to 12.00<\/strong>, but he loves it. In the future Ly hopes to work as a government officer<\/strong>, for instance as a ranger<\/strong> at the Ministry of Environment, or as a chief of Forestry in Forest Administration; but there are plenty of options. He would also like to own a business and sell plants for decoration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n His advice<\/strong> for high school students who are interested in this major: Pay special attention to the high school subjects of Biology, Geography and Chemistry<\/strong>.
